Super Visa for Parents and Grandparents

Parents and Grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents are eligbile to apply for the Super Visa. Super Visa can be granted for multiple entries for a maximum of ten years. The parents and grandparents can visit for up two years without the need to renew their status. The parents have to establish that they are genuine visitors and as such have to provide evidence of their ties to their home country.

They need to provide the following documents:

A written commitment of financial support from their child or grandchild in Canada who meets a minimum income thershold.

Prove that they have bought Canadian medical insurance coverage for at least one year.

Complete an Immigration Medical Examination.
